Services:

01. Distribution of free textbooks at various secondary (school and madrasa) level and ibtedayi madrasas of the upazila.

02. Providing stipends at secondary, higher secondary and undergraduate levels.

03. Arranging various professional training for teachers through TQI & SESIP.

04. To assist in the recruitment of teachers through NTRCA for the vacant posts in the educational institutions under its purview.

05. Academic inspection of secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions.
06. To conduct the internal examinations of the educational institutions at the same time as per the academic calendar prescribed by the Ministry of Education, to observe the publication of results etc.

07. To carry out various types of investigations directly or as directed by the higher authority or the court.

08. To be responsible for the election of the board of directors of various educational institutions, local or national elections.
09. To fulfill the responsibilities assigned by the Upazila Parishad and the government.

10. Educational Institution Survey as directed by Banbase.
